Destination: Cochin - Munnar - Thekkady - Alleppy House Boat – Cochin
Day 01: Arrival Cochin – Munnar (120Km/ 4Hrs)
Arrive at Airport/Railway Station in Cochin and you will be proceeding for an amazing journey to Munnar. En route enjoy scenic views of Cardamom hills, Waterfalls, and green carpets of tea plantations. If interested go on a self guided trekking tour. Stay overnight at the Hotel at Munnar.
Day 02: Munnar
Visit Eravikulam National Park to see rare mountain goats locally named as Nilgiri Tahr, Old Munnar Town, Dairy Farm and the Mattupetty Dam and Eco Point. Enjoy the rest of the day on your own. Stay overnight at the Hotel.
Day 03: Munnar - Thekkady (110Km/4.30 Hrs)
Have breakfast and further your trip to the wildlife sanctuary at Periyar/Thekkady. On arrival check in at the Hotel/Resort. Main tourist attraction in Thekkady is the boat cruise on the Periyar Lake, where you can spot a large variety of wildlife, which includes elephants, monkeys, deer, wild boar etc. Stay overnight at the Hotel.
Day 04: Thekkady - Alleppey House Boat (185 Km/ 4.30 Hrs)
Today we will be enjoying one of the major tourist attractions in Kerala “Houseboat”. Depart Thekkady to Alleppey. On arrival check into houseboat and start the magical journey over the backwater on Houseboat (Kettuvallam) cruise for 22 hours. While floating over water enjoy panoramic views of village life at close quarters and sunset scene. Stay overnight at the houseboat. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Day 05: Alleppey - Cochin (100 Km/2Hrs)
Check out time from houseboat is 9am. After morning cruise and breakfast checkout from the hotel and drive to Cochin. Cochin (Kochi) is known as the Queen of Arabian Sea. On arrival at Cochin check into your hotel. Cochin sightseeing includes visit to St Francis Church, the oldest Church in India, 500 year old Portuguese Houses, Chinese fishing nets, Dutch Cemetery, 16th century Synagogue, Jew Town and Mattancherry Palace, built by Portuguese, this Palace contains some of India’s most beautiful murals. Evening go for shopping. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: Cochin Departure
Today you will dropped at Cochin Airport/ Railway station for your onward journey.
